An important element of the "HAN vision on digital education resources" (HAN University of Applied Sciences, 2023a), which aims to change the way lecturers work with digital and open educational resources, is to encourage and facilitate lecturers in working with digital educational resources. In this article, we describe ways of recognition and reward that an organization can use to durable motivate teachers to work with digital and open educational resources and to use the learning materials cycle (Versantvoort et al., 2024).
