ICT in e-commerce

Het begrip e-commerce is erg breed en niet onder één enkele sector te scharen. Als je denkt aan e-commerce dan komt daar van alles bij kijken; ondernemen, handelsgeest, logistiek maar natuurlijk ook ICT. Dat laatste is voor veel mensen lastig te begrijpen en wordt al gauw overgelaten aan de ‘echte ict’ers’ omdat men denkt dat het moeilijk is. Tegenwoordig is ICT allang niet meer enkel voor nerds, veel zaken zijn prima zelf te doen en helemaal niet lastig. Op het gebied van e-commerce is ICT vooral belangrijk om een website op een goede manier te kunnen opzetten en te kunnen beheren. Tijdens deze modules zul je alles leren wat je nodig hebt om dit te kunnen doen! Je gaat in vijf modules leren hoe je een website opzet en daarvoor beginnen we met basiskennis in module 1 tot het beheren van deze site in module 5. De modules zijn zo opgebouwd dat je zonder voorkennis kan beginnen aan module één en met de kennis uit de voorgaande module door kan naar de volgende. Als je al wat meer weet over onderwerpen uit een bepaalde module is het ook mogelijk door te gaan naar de volgende module zodat je snel vooruitgang boekt!

Blogs in Education (Edublogs)

Thousands of (master) student papers are written each year. They are checked, graded and being archived. The student paper has no further 'life'; the research work gets ‘thrown away’. Using blogging in education offers an opportunity to give ‘life’ and usefulness for the research work of the student and his paper. This, among other things, will enhance the incentives of students in their research and writing. It is also beneficial for the education programmes, individual academic courses, teachers and the society at large. With these aspirations in mind, we created in 2018 this manual for university teachers, Utrecht University. This manual provides an overview of the what, the why and, importantly, the how of blogging in education (Edublogs). Of note, this manual was created for, but certainly not limited to, law students. 1] The first document discusses a number of points concerning opportunities, possibilities and risks interconnected with using blogging in education of university graduates. 2] The second document provides a step-by-step tutorial on how to get your own blog started (as a teacher). Of note: this is only necessary when you want students to also create blogpages. 3] The third document contains a flyer summarizing the most important ideas of Edublogs, which may be useful to share with your students. 4] The fourth document discusses which learning objectives for law students can be reached using blogging.

Professionals aan het woord: STEM-vaardigheden in het TP werkveld

Binnen onze opleiding Toegepaste Psychologie (TP) hebben wij een leerlijn over de jaren heen die studenten digitaal vaardiger moet maken/beter voorbereid moet laten zijn op de technologische veranderingen die momenteel gaande zijn in het werkveld van de Toegepast Psycholoog (TP'er). Deze leerlijn heet STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), en wordt in onze opleiding vertaald door studenten bijvoorbeeld een adaptieve vragenlijst te laten programmeren in Python, een website te laten bouwen in WordPress en de logdata hiervan te analyseren, en een eLearning te bouwen. Maar hoe zie jij deze vaardigheden later terug binnen het werkveld? In deze video komen een aantal professionals aan het woord die dagelijks met STEM te maken hebben en deze video geeft de raakvlakken weer die STEM heeft met de drie specialisaties binnen Toegepaste Pscyhologie.

Het vergroten van de kennis en het bewustzijn van de geschiedenis die inwoners van Rotterdam met elkaar delen, ter vergroting van wederzijds begrip en respect en ter versterking van de multi-etnische samenleving in heden en toekomst. In het bijzonder stelt de stichting zich ten doel aandacht te schenken aan de gedeelde geschiedenis die direct of indirect het gevolg is van de rol die Nederland heeft gespeeld als koloniale mogendheid in verschillende delen van de wereld en de manier waarop die geschiedenis doorwerkt in hedendaagse beeldvorming en sociale en culturele codes.

Medieval Digital Resources

The Medieval Digital Resources website (MDR for short) is a project of the Medieval Academy of America, the largest organization in North America promoting excellence in the field of medieval studies. The project aims to provide access to websites that contain content of interest to medievalists and meet the Academy’s scholarly and technical standards of web presentation. Sources are vetted according to the Medieval Academy’s (MAA) Standards for Web Publication and formally recommended by members of the Speculum Review Board and the Medieval Academy of America’s Digital Humanities and Multimedia Studies Committee, all of whom are subject experts and/or digital experts. Websites chosen for inclusion in MDR are encouraged to display the Academy’s MDR logo on their website. To nominate a new digital resource, please fill out and submit the Suggest a Resource Form.
