Code of conduct for your VirtualShip group

This code of conduct can be used in VirtualShip to make students think about collaboration within their group and how to distribute their grade. Note that the Code of Conduct applies to the actual collaboration within your group in the VirtualShip Assignment; so is not about how you would work on the ship.

plusROOF: Steel-glass roof system with innovative SSG bonding

In this recorded presentation from glasstec 2024, Tim Seidel summarizes the plusROOF research project, which investigated the structural bonding of glass directly to steel substructures as a more efficient and design-flexible alternative to traditional complex and expensive skylight construction. The project identified a suitable polyurethane anti-corrosion coating that met adhesion standards, developed a parameter-based planning tool for double-curved designs, and validated the system through component tests. A 5.5x3.1 meter demonstrator successfully underwent rigorous testing for air permeability, driving rain tightness, and wind load resistance, achieving excellent performance and laying the foundation for future regulatory approvals and practical applications. The video was produced by the Open GLASSroom project. Special thanks to Tim Seidel for contributing to the Open GLASSroom OER collection. The creation of these resources has been (partially) funded by the ERASMUS+ grant program of the European Union under grant no. 2022-1-DE01-KA220-HED-000089750. INPRO Student-Run Interprofessional Learning Ward (SR-IPLW)

In 2019, an SR-IPLW was started in the rehabilitation centre “Revalidatie Friesland” (RF) in The Netherlands. This was a collaboration between RF and Hanze University of Applied Sciences (HUAS). The starting point of the SR-IPLW was that students are 'in the lead' and to create an innovative climate in which we continuously work on improvements for patients, students, lecturers, and health care professionals through interprofessional collaboration. We work based on practice-based evidence. This document describes the current situation at the SR-IPLW. In the future, we hope to further optimize the SR-IPLW based on the described principles.

INPRO Student-Run Interprofessional Learning Ward (SR-IPLW)

This social business case describes the motivation to develop a Student-Run Interprofessional Learning Ward (SR-IPLW), where patients, students, lecturers, and professionals learn and work together. Students are in the lead of SR-IPLW together with professionals and lecturers on the basis of patients' needs. Coaching and supporting the lecturers and professionals. Everyone learns and continues learning, which means that the SR-IPLW is constantly evolving. Innovation and Research support this process. The business case makes clear that with a modest financial investment, an extensive (organization-wide) commitment, and solid (organization-exceeding) cooperation, an SR-IPLW can be realized with a fundamental social impact. A new way of education, and a different approach of treatment resulting in a permanent influx of interprofessional educated young talented professionals.

Implementation of ICF Documentation System for Dietitians

Since ICF is a helpful tool for setting goals and documenting patients' rehabilitation progress, Moorheilbad Harbach Gesundheits- & Rehabilitationszentrum (MoHa) decided to create an online system for documentation by using ICF as a basis. This document aims to present a step-by-step guideline on how to implement an online ICF documentation system by providing insights into the general information, actions, documentation, and evaluation that is needed to develop such a project in a different organization. It should inspire other organizations to start a similar approach by sharing general guidelines about the implementation process. Additionally, the advantages of the use of a documentation system are pointed out as well as obstacles one has to keep in mind.
