2C2C - Classification Criteria for Substantiation through Scholarship / 2C20 - ClassificatieCriteria voor Onderbouwing middels Onderzoek
To communicate transparently about the origin and substantiation of (educational) tools, Utrecht University's Interdisciplinary Education programme has developed classification criteria. These criteria allow potential users of a tool to assess at a glance whether the tool - given its origin and substantiation - can be supportive in developing, implementing or evaluating an innovative educational task. A tool is evaluated by the developer or publisher along two lines: Theoretical Foundation (TF) and Empirical Foundation (EF), together these lines lead to a classification of the type of resource(s) on which the tool is based.
