Overview: Citing information
When you write a paper or a thesis you have to include in-text citations or footnotes and a bibliography: your readers have to be able to see which sources you used. Making correct references can be a lot of work, but there are tools available to help you with this - reference managers.

In this guide you see how you can use a particular reference manager - RefWorks -:

• to collect the information needed to make correct references
• to manage your references
• to create 'stand-alone' bibliographies and
• to create in-text citations or footnotes in your own document.
