Library Essentials cursus VU Universiteitsbibliotheek

Library Essentials is een introductiecursus voor nieuwe medewerkers van de VU Universiteitsbibliotheek. De cursus biedt een laagdrempelige kennismaking met de organisatie, de verschillende afdelingen en de dienstverlening en expertise binnen de UB. De onderdelen van deze publicatie bevatten zowel inhoudelijke materialen van de cursus als begeleidende documenten die een beeld geven van de opzet van een dergelijke cursus. Ze kunnen gebruikt worden ter inspiratie voor het opzetten van een soortgelijke cursus bij andere instellingen. AI in de Onderwijspraktijk met eduGenAI

In deze training leren onderwijsprofessionals generatieve AI bewust en verantwoord inzetten in onderzoek en lespraktijk: didactisch, pedagogisch en ethisch. Deelnemers werken hierbij met het eduGenAI-platform*. De training duurt drie dagen, met elk een eigen focus. Deep dive in AI en het eduGenAI-platform, generatieve AI pedagogisch en didactisch inzetten & van idee naar usecase in eduGenAI. Er wordt actief gewerkt met opdrachten, reflectie en verdieping, ondersteund door presentaties, aanvullend materiaal en good practices uit de praktijk. *EduGenAI is beschikbaar voor instellingen die meedoen aan de pilot. Introduction to Woodworking Machines

Introduction to Woodworking Machines is written to introduce basic woodworking machine safety and techniques to beginner woodworkers using an instructional woodshop. This guide is not a substitute for an in-person learning experience led by a competent instructor in the woodshop. While woodworking tools and machines present risk, accidents are avoided in shops where safety is a shared priority. A safety-conscious shop creates a culture of safety first through appropriate training, properly maintained tools and safety equipment, and a well-organized workspace.
