INPRO Student-Run Interprofessional Learning Ward (SR-IPLW)

The guidelines and business case of the Student-Run Interprofessional Learning Ward (SR-IPLW) are published and available free of charge by the INPRO consortium. In case a healthcare organization in collaboration with a Higher Education Institute is planning to implement an SR-IPLW, the following roadmap can be used. The action plan starts with a Preparation Phase followed by an Operation Phase.

INPRO Student-Run Interprofessional Learning Ward (SR-IPLW)

In 2019, an SR-IPLW was started in the rehabilitation centre “Revalidatie Friesland” (RF) in The Netherlands. This was a collaboration between RF and Hanze University of Applied Sciences (HUAS). The starting point of the SR-IPLW was that students are 'in the lead' and to create an innovative climate in which we continuously work on improvements for patients, students, lecturers, and health care professionals through interprofessional collaboration. We work based on practice-based evidence. This document describes the current situation at the SR-IPLW. In the future, we hope to further optimize the SR-IPLW based on the described principles.

Workshop "Setting a Main Goal"

This document is developed because there are a lot of differences in how colleagues set goals. This had a negative effect on the treatment duration. This product is developed to improve formulating SMART goals using the ICF framework. You can use this PowerPoint if you want everyone to make goals the same way and get to see the advantages for the treatment to set better goals and use the ICF framework. How to use it: give the PowerPoint presentation to a maximum of +/-15-person group of colleagues with a mix of all the different disciplines. Make the PowerPoint interactive so that the value of setting a SMART goal using ICF is noticed by the colleagues themselves.
