Zadkine and open educational resources
Zadkine is a vocational school in the Rotterdam region with more than 150 programs. We want to provide every student with the best opportunities to develop and successfully progress to work or further education.

Open educational resources help us keep education current, flexible, accessible and affordable. That's why we encourage the finding, using, adapting, creating and sharing of open educational resources within Zadkine. We integrate these resources where they fit into the education and contribute to its quality.

We are building a structured approach for open educational resources. We do this among other things with the Zadkine Open Community: a network of colleagues who share knowledge and experience and promote the use and sharing of open educational resources within Zadkine. Additionally, Zadkine participates in the national OpenUp initiative and aligns with national developments regarding digital and open educational resources and edusources.

That way we want to prevent everyone from reinventing the wheel individually. By sharing knowledge and educational resources, we learn from each other and work together on good and affordable vocational education.
