Talland College and Open Educational Resources

Open educational resources offer opportunities to innovate education more rapidly, collaborate across teams and institutions, and provide students with access to current, high-quality, and inspiring learning content.

At Talland College, education and operational support work closely together to facilitate the development, publication, and management of educational materials as effectively as possible. Wherever feasible, we strive to simplify and automate processes. We promote a culture in which developing, sharing, reusing, and continuously improving educational materials is considered standard practice. This helps prevent teams from duplicating work and enables us to benefit from each other's knowledge and experience.

For this reason, we participate in national initiatives such as edusources and SURFsharekit, and we make use of open solutions that support the sharing of educational materials. In addition, Talland College is building a network of educational professionals who share knowledge, experiences, and educational resources with one another and with colleagues across the Dutch vocational education sector (MBO).

Our ambition is to increasingly develop education collaboratively. In this way, innovation, cooperation, and knowledge sharing contribute to better education for students, teachers, and the wider region.
