OER at the Erasmus University Rotterdam
EUR encourages and supports the use of open educational resources (OER) as a way of enriching the quality and impact of our educational programmes, and the experiences of both instructors and students. For instructors, OER offers clear benefits, such as knowledge sharing and time- and resource-saving through collaboration on quality teaching materials. For students, OER offers possibilities for flexible and personalised education, enhancing the study experience, academic success and overall well-being. OER makes EUR education more accessible, visible, reusable, and therefore more impactful, in our own classrooms and beyond, and the University Library (UB) can help.
Share your educational resources
Would you like to get started making your own teaching materials openly available for other instructors and learners? Use SURFSharekit to upload your materials to make them searchable here on SURF Edusources along with the EUR’s existing OER materials. Please reach out to the UB: we can offer advice on using SURFSharekit and Edusources, copyright, and adding the right metadata to your materials.
If you’d like to create an open textbook, our support also includes advice and support on creating open textbooks using Wikiwijs.
For more information about OER and how the UB can assist you, please visit the OER resource page at the UB website.
