Avans university of applied sciences

A lot is currently happening in the field of open educational resources within Avans.

Following Avans' endorsement of the national approach to digital and open educational resources, an initial exploration and testing of starting points for policy among our stakeholders took place recently.

On 1 September 2024, Avans will start implementing the Npuls scheme OpenUp. Until December 2025 we will work on the further development of the following focus areas: vision and policy, culture, professionalisation, support, cooperation and infrastructure.

Experiences with open educational resources within our university can be seen in this video. An AvansPanel survey (Only available in Dutch) on open educational resources was also conducted among (former) students and lecturers.
