MicroLab Open Educational Resources 2023

Our University of Groningen Microlab on Open Educational Resources. This presentation is part of a Microlab, a more active workshop setting with more time for participants to engage with OER and course design. It briefly recaps earlier studied information on Open Education and OER, before providing space to both look for OER, and adapt them to the courses the participants provide at the University of Groningen. The assignments interspliced between the information slides are focused on reflecting on the search, evaluation, adaptation, and creation processes of OER. The workshop was provided by specialists from the library and education support and innovation departments.

Website – HAN digital educational resources

HAN University of Applied Sciences wants students and educators to have easy access to high-quality educational resources. This way, educators and students can create their ideal mix of educational resources, drawing from open, semi-open and commercial sources. HAN also develops his own educational resources and share them openly whenever possible. In doing so, we put knowledge in motion and help advance education. With the Change Project Approach to Digital Educational Resources, HAN is working towards realizing our ambition. Of course, the change project also operates according to open values. That is why HAN has created a page where both inside and outside the institute can follow how we are working on this realization. For more information about this change process and the story behind these products, visit: https://www.hanuniversity.com/en/about-us/han-organization/mission-vision/digital-educational-resources/
